Get your body fat down to see your abs
Many people watch the infomercials on TV and think that, if they buy the latest abs gizmo and just use it for 7 minutes a day, that will bring out their abs.
The truth is, your abs will only start to appear once you get your overall body-fat level down. Once you get it down far enough, you should notice your abs appearing - they were there all along. Only then should you really start focussing on ab exercises.
So, the best exercises to see your abs (if you are currently overweight) are actually cardiovascular and fat-burning ones. Don't waste time strapped into some machine - get on the treadmill and walk, jog, run!
