Avoiding eye strain
If you are useing a computer to study then rest every hour or so for fifteen minutes. Even if you have to seriously study something, and are reading, it helps to take these breaks if only to avoid that feeling of being like a wet sponge.
Another way that you can help yourself is to change the colour of the wondows on your computer. If you have Windows XP, go to the desktop, right click, go to properties--->Appearence---->Advanced.
Form thee you can change anything, including the background colour of a window, so if you find the glaring white of microsoft word painfull, change it by going to that drop down menu and selecting window and select a colour that is o.k. on your eyes, yet you can still see the black on.
Last of all, if you feel like you can't go on, rest a while, and see if you work better when you feel better.
