Take another person`s point of view

When you are asked to write something critically, you need to be able to take other peoples` viewpoints into consideration. This means examining a situation through their eyes.

If you were in their position, how would you feel about the situation? Would you feel the same about the rights or wrongs of the death penalty if a member of your family had been killed than if you were on trial for a murder yourself?

You can`t just say "You`re wrong" because you disagree with them - they probably believe the same about you.
