Notes don`t have to be boring
Many students feel that good notes should always written in clear handwriting, and the page shoud be well formatted.
Unless you are handing in your notes for marking, you need to remember that they are for your eyes only. You need to write your notes for you - and they can be as messy and creative as you want.
Draw pictures to explain things rather than writing words (a picture is worth a thousand words), use colored pens, write upside down, use arrows to link ideas - anything to help you learn and understand what is going on.
You should enjoy going back to look at your notes, not dread looking at them. As long as you capture the key ideas, it is up to you how you write them down. |
