Search within one website

If you want to limit a search to within one website, put "site:WEBSITE" followed by the term. This is very useful for sites with thousands of pages.

For example,
site:www.bbc.co.uk gordon brown
site:www.apple.com ipod

Just put it into any google search box...

e.g. site:www.bbc.co.uk gordon brown

It doesn't matter what web browser you use. Don't put it in the address bar, because it will confuse the web browser.
