Make text appear sharper in XP

You can make the text on your screen appear sharper in Windows XP by enabling "Clear Type."

To do this,

1) Right-click on the Desktop (blank area) and choose Properties
2) Hit the Appearance Tab then click the effects... button at the bottom
3) Select Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts and then choose Clear Type from the drop down menu
