You don't need the web address

Rather than using web addresses, if you type in a phrase into the URL line in Firefox (and Google is set as your default search engine) you will get taken straight to the site of the first result. It's the same as pressing the I Feel Lucky button.

Since Google is pretty accurate, you will normally find that you will get to where you want - without having to type in the full address.

For example,

type "Google" to go to www.google.com
type "Ebay" to go to www.ebay.com
type "BBC" to go to www.bbc.co.uk
